Well another post at last

Well things have been very busy, I have been so very lucky to have Chloe here 2 months and am sad to see it end. I have left the details of fantastic time we had to Chloe and won't expand on it here. We were luckily nowhere near the bombs in London and no one we know was hurt but I guess things have been a bit nervous here. I have been working nonstop recently but we have a little breather before the storm of DEFCON. There is an air of excitement as we are preparing to go.

As a little update Dave Aitel was in London (for background ) and I had the opportunity to have a chat with him. I've been quite lucky to have met and spent time with both Halvar Flake and Dave Aitel who are 2 of the biggest names in my industry and people I have a lot of respect for.

I'm somewhat excited about going to the USA and I'm not sure what to expect, especially going to a geek/hacker conference. I am taking a laptop and grabbed a blank disk so it is effectively a throw away but still gives me something to play with.

I have planned to come home at the end of October for 3 weeks. I hope to have a big group catchup at a pub one night but have yet to start planning it. Well if I do anything interesting or ground breaking I'll let everyone know.
